Travelling Microscope is a high-precision linear measurement instrument widely used in physics, engineering, and research laboratories. Designed for accurate measurement of small displacements, refractive index experiments, and optical bench setups, this vernier-type travelling microscope offers superior stability, precision, and durability.
Constructed on a rigid cast iron base with fine ground guideways, the microscope features horizontal and vertical sliding carriages, both equipped with fine adjustment slow-motion controls. The achromatic optical system ensures a clear and sharp image at 10X magnification, while the crossline eyepiece allows precise alignment during measurement.
A milk-white Perspex platform is provided for object placement, and the vertical brass pillar supports the rack-and-pinion microscope tube for fine focusing. The setup is complete with a least count of 0.01 mm (10 microns), suitable for experiments demanding high accuracy.
